Information
It’s a New Year - Resident
Information Sheets (RIS) are needed
We would like to encourage all residents to fill out an annual Resident
Information Sheet (RIS) found in this newsletter and give it to their Block
Captain. The RIS is used to update the annual Weatherstone directory and the
WHOA and Block Email Lists. Emails are the best way to communicate – please
make sure your email address is up to date in our system. In addition this
information is used to generate our much needed volunteer and sponsor lists
for Weatherstone events.
New Residents
If you are new resident in Weatherstone please request a Welcome Packet from
your Block Captain. New residents will be asked to fill out the RIS form and
the pool waiver form found in their packet and return it to their block
captain to get their pool key. The RIS form will be used to update the
Weatherstone directory and email list. A list of Block Captains can be found
at www.weatherstone.us.
Pool Keys
Each family in Weatherstone is allowed one pool key;
there is a $25.00 fee for lost pool keys. If you need a pool key please
contact your Block Captain.
Neighborhood Outreach
Program
The Weatherstone Social Committee organizes a variety
of community outreach programs and support throughout the year.
Some of our outreach and support in the past has included:
ALS Foundation, American Heart Association, Concert for Kyle, Douglas County
Christmas for Kids, Make A Wish Foundation, Salvation Army, Sunshine Kids
Foundation and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Sponsors
If you would like to be a sponsor at the Easter
Egg Hunt, Pool BBQ, Garage Sale, 4th of July, National Night Out, Golf
Dinner, Concert for Kyle or Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure please
contact the block captain chair at
whoa_bc_chair@weatherstone.us or your block captain.
Volunteers are Needed at every Event
We would like to ask all families to volunteer
once a year at an event for two hours. Please contact your Block Captain
and let them know which event would work out best for you or a family
member. High School children may volunteer for community service hours.
