Minutes
I. Call to Order
A. Michelle Nelson called the meeting to order at 07:33 PM and presented an oral agenda for the meeting.
II. Roll Call
A. Roll call was taken and all five Board of Directors were present.
III. Agenda – Planned meeting agenda was:
A. Set meeting dates for the rest of the year.
B. Discuss the Weatherstone Neighborhood Directory.
C. Set board member duties (president, secretary, etc.)
D. Landscaping status.
E. Financials.
IV. Previous Meeting Minutes Accepted
A. It was moved and seconded to approve the meeting minutes from the last meeting and all BOD members approved the motion.
V. Neighborhood Directory

Michael has been working with a Weatherstone
resident to have the document typeset.
He asked for the Boards’ opinion on format and on using this resident to
perform this work. The Board agreed to have Michael pursue this avenue.
VII. Meeting schedule
A. All monthly meetings will be held in a conference room at the library. The dates are currently planned for the last Wednesday of each month as follows:

B. General WHOA Quarterly Meetings were scheduled for June 23rd, September 15th & December 15th
C. Newsletters will be published February, May, August & November
VIII. Landscaping
A. It was decided to use the Brickman Company for e landscaping. This was moved, seconded and passed unanimously by the board. The decision was based, in part, on their competitive cost, excellent reputation, personal interviews and well-known references.
B. Certain sections of the pool area will need to be re-sodded due to neglect by All Phase.
C. Kevin will arrange to meet interested board members at the pool to view needed maintenance.
D. Flowers will be provided by Brickman using 10” spacing.

Finance update – The February accounting should
be completed and available by
X. Pool Update
A. Pool is scheduled to open May 22nd.
B. The board is in the process of negotiating a contract to have the pool area cleaned 3 days each week for the 18-week season. The preferred days are Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
C. The cost of the pool maintenance was proposed from Robbins Pool Service. The cost of the service was $5730 plus opening and closing costs. Kevin will negotiate with Robbins Pool Service to get the cost of the maintenance.
D. The card reader idea will not be pursued at the present time.
E. Changes to the fence will not be pursued. There was some agreement that it would be nice to get a higher fence around the immediate pool area. There is no budget available for this right now.

A. Hans
reported on his attendance of the HRCA meeting held on
B. The topic he felt relevant to Weatherstone was that HRCA is trying to raise money for the new park by the Highlands Ranch Library.
C. The Board explored the possibility of helping HRCA in exchange for an earlier construction completion date for the Weatherstone No decisions were made concerning this Park.
D. Hans
will be meeting with Terry Nolan and Tom Hoby on
XII. Board member roles were not discussed due to time limitations.
