Weatherstone had its (first annual?) Fall Carnival on
Saturday, October 4, 2003. Everybody enjoyed the beautiful
weather and the games and prizes were fantastic. The kids loved
the clown, the huge climbing wall/inflatable slide, helium balloons
and the bouncy. The food was delicious and over 100 families
attended. There were 12 games, face painting and the clown in
the parking lot. The bouncy with its big colorful decorations, and
the food and drinks were in the pool area and the climbing
wall/inflatable slide and helium balloons were in the picnic area.
The clown made balloon animals, funny balloon hats, did face painting,
provided race cars and had a ride-on train. The entrances were
decorated with bails of hay, pumpkins and scarecrows. The entrance to
the pool had corn stalks on either side, a scarecrow and balloons and
we decorated the bathroom doors with door length Halloween signs.
